Avionics Technician with 5 years of experience, must be available for swing shift.

Must have electrical, mechanical, and cable fabrication skills as required to install and maintain Garmin, Bendix/King, and S-TEC, Navigation, Communication, and Auto-Pilot Avionics Systems in General Aviation, Single- and Multi-Engine aircraft.

Must also have strong Line Maintenance, avionics system troubleshooting, testing, and repair skills, and be familiar with FAR 91.411/91.413 Pitot/Static & Transponder Inspections. Avionics components Bench Checks and repair are desired, but not required. FCC License and current Avionics Repair Station license are highly desired.

Position: TURBINE FLEET MANAGER

Duties include management of over 280 turbine engines for our fleet of 130 Turbo-prop aircraft. The majority of these turbines are the Pratt & Whitney PT6A series engine, but the position also oversees the PW118, and Garrett TPE331 Turbine Engine and GTCP36 Series APU. Additionally, the position will monitor and recommend changes to fleet maintenance standards and procedures throughout the company as well as develop and conduct classroom and OJT to improve mechanics’ knowledge, trouble-shooting abilities, work habits, and productivity. This position monitors all aspects of our engine operations, and maintenance program.

The successful applicant must have strong organizational and communication skills and a positive attitude. A highly developed business aptitude is also strongly desired. You must have a minimum of 10 years of Turbine Engine Shop Maintenance level experience, along with experience working with Pratt & Whitney PT6A series engines and Garrett TPE331 series engines. And, you must hold a valid and current FAA mechanics certificate with Airframe and Power Plant ratings.
